Press Release Summary: New book proposes change in the way we think about schools
and schooling.

Press Release Body: "Fast Food Education" takes a practical look at truths about
teaching and learning. Through an insightful mix of storytelling and explanations
in layman\'s terms, the authors explore how people naturally learn and what that
means for education. Authors Dr. P. Mark Taylor and Darris J. Brock challenge
schooling as we know it while answering the questions: Why do so many people
struggle to learn in schools? Why is the learning done in school seen as being
vastly different from learning through experience? Why do people forget so many of
the basic facts they have learned in school?

Taylor & Brock, however, are not just out to change schooling, they are also in it
for a higher calling. Taylor recently abandoned his tenured position as a professor
at the University of Tennessee to help create a home for children in crisis. Known
as Eagle's Nest Christian Academy, the home will provide a safe haven for children
whose home life is not stable, safe, and secure. Along with Brock, who serves on
the board of director's from Eagle's Nest, Taylor has founded a publishing to earn a
living while serving as Executive Director of Eagle's Nest as a volunteer.
